Knowledge is something all people strive for.
Since the beginning of time, when the first caveman discovered how to create fire from rocks and sticks.
To the times of the ancient Greeks and Romans, when philosophy was created and people realized that every single thing had to have,
An explanation.

To now, where current news flourishes,
And Math, Science, History, English have been based solely off of,
Knowledge.
Yet, knowledge leads to the tyranny of emotion.
For there is some knowledge we don’t want to have
That sits inside of us like an anxious bird trying to escape from a cage.
Yet, knowledge leads to evil.

For some knowledge isn’t used for the progress of society
Malicious transgressions, never-ending competition, discreet manipulation of all kinds.
And then one thinks about the universe spinning for billions of years
And knowledge,
Stops.
There is the search inside each human being where knowledge is unattainable,
Which is something we refuse to accept.
However sometimes,
It is better,
To remain,
Oblivious.
For the arrogance humanity has built itself upon can only be solved by,
Oblivion.
